
1. What is your favorite class at Jade Fitness and why?
All of them. Really, because the variety of classes and trainers is what keeps me and my body on my toes. I regularly do the strength classes, yoga, have tried club fitness, and even do the basics class to get back in touch with the correct way of performing certain exercises.
2. What do you like to do when you’re not working out at Jade Fitness?
I enjoy cooking and learning new clean recipes for my husband and I to try. I really like the paleo diet cookbook and this site – http://www.eat-yourself- skinny.com/
We also love trying new restaurants – Rose’s Luxury is our favorite in DC and is located right here on Capitol Hill. A bit of scoop – they are taking over the Home Body space next door and plan to put in another restaurant there – café/coffee shop by day and fine dining by night. We also do a lot of traveling, playing with our 2 dogs (boxers), and just relaxing. I also like shopping…duh.
3. What would you name the autobiography of your life?
You would have never guessed…
4. What is the last good book you read?
Love or hate me — 50 Shades of Grey
5. Do you prefer cardio or strength training?
Both – I get different satisfaction from each.
6. What does your perfect day look like?
Not sure if you mean in real life, so in dream life – Wake up to no alarm, my personal chef would make us a very full healthy breakfast with delicious cappuccinos, I would probably have a quick work out followed by a facial and massage. We would then wonder around the beach and different cafes sipping wine and indulging in fresh seafood (I’m probably in Italy). Beyond that we would do whatever we felt like doing next; impulsive and going with the flow of what we felt that day.
7. How do you think your Jade trainers would describe you?
Hmmm – I have a rather complex personality, so who knows! One thing I’ve never been described as is normal.
8. What kind of music (or musical artists) do you like to listen to when you work out?
Usually top 40 stuff – fast paced, catchy music
9. Tell us something about you that not many people know
I’m over 4 months pregnant!
