Football players work hard. If you’ve ever seen any of the TV shows about their routines, you’ll know that they push themselves at every workout. You’ll also notice that a lot of the workouts they do don’t involve a football, and many of them look a lot like the exercises we give you here at Jade Fitness.
In honor of the Big Game coming up this weekend, we would like to share with you a couple great links we found with a ton of great exercises based on football workouts. Each link is full of great advice for you to getting your sweat on like the pros.
Take a look, test them out during our open gym times, and if you have any questions feel free to ask one of our expert trainers to help you out.

- Men’s Health Magazine’s – The Football Body Workout – 4 workouts that will take up a full week of your time. For the best results, be sure to do the pairs of workouts back to back.
- BodyBuilding.com’s – Intense 5-Day Football Workout! – These guys never mess around. For the majority of our members, you’ll probably want to make a lot of adjustments on this one.
- Stack.com’s – 15 Cutting Edge Exercises From the Best Players in the NFL – We’re talking the big leaguers now. Don’t worry if you can’t keep up with the guys who do these exercises, they get paid the big bucks.
Several of the exercises in these routines may use equipment we don’t have at Jade, don’t fret, just ask one of our trainers for a replacement exercise that targets the same muscles and you’ll be good to go.
