My belief is that fitness and health is more than looking good. It’s feeling good on both the inside and outside. Be active. Be fit! Endure the pain, keep going, push hard, give your maximum, love & enjoy life – make fitness part of who you are by aligning mind, body and spirit.
Certified through American Council on Exercise, I want to share my enthusiasm, encourage a happier lifestyle and help you realize what your body is capable of. I believe that with the right training program and following the exercise right, a bit of determination and support, anyone can achieve their goals. I make sure that every exercise in my designed work out for my client has a purpose, progression, regression, and is preparing client for another exercise, an everyday task or both.
Before becoming a trainer, I struggled with my own weight. When I was a junior in high school I weighed in at just over 270 lbs. at 6’ 0” tall. I decided it was time for a change. This was something I knew had to be for the rest of my life and not some quick solution. So, it took me years to learn to eat right, find what worked for me in my exercise routines as well as in nutrition, and gain the knowledge and experience to excel in health, wellness, fitness and strength.
When I am not working, I enjoy traveling and spending time with my 7 year old daughter. My favorite quote is “Success flourishes only in perseverance — ceaseless, restless perseverance.” ~ Baron Manfred von Richthofen and my favorite place to relax on weekends is Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial
